چکیده
The aim of this study was to determine the effects pasture (cocksfoot cv. porto (CFP) and lucerne) supplementation grazing lambs with pellets or without plant oil infusion on performance carcass characteristics. Forty-eight White Suffolk x Corriedale first-cross weaners were randomly assigned one four treatments in a split-plot experimental design: (1) CFP lucerne pastures only (control); supplemented infused from (2) canola (CO); (3) rice bran (RBO) (4) no (NOP). Lucerne considered as main plot effect, played role basal pastures. Lambs pellet achieved weights >22 kg at 9 weeks, which met specific requirements Asian United States America export markets. Pellet did not affect final liveweight, average daily gain, body length, withers height chest girth lambs. Dressing percentage RBO increased compared only. Although supplementing CO had relatively negligible impact feed conversion efficiency, it significantly over hook trade value In conclusion, plus produced lamb carcasses suitable for market. low cost per unit gain (0.9 $AU/kg 0.6 pasture) could also be used tactical tool increasing weight pasture.

متن کاملInteraction of Plant Species Diversity on Grazing Behavior and Performance of Livestock Grazing Temperate Region Pastures
The importance of plant species diversity on performance of livestock grazing temperate region pastures is summarized in this review. As livestock producers seek less capital-intensive production systems, emphasis is redirected toward low-input pasture systems that rely on complex species mixtures to produce forage. Increased plant species diversity has been linked to improvements in ecosystem ...
